We had a beautiful night for Taylor's Confirmation....the power of the Holy Spirit was with all of us! Thirty-two sophomore's were confirmed by Bishop Cote, followed by a sweet little reception at the church where we took pictures with our parish priests and the Bishop.
On the far left is Fr. Rick Ricard, our pastor, and on the far right is Fr. John, our associate pastor. 
We headed back home to continue the celebration and I managed to persuade Taylor to hold off changing into bonfire clothes while I snapped a couple of photos of her.

After feasting on Chili, fruit, raspberry cake AND carrot cake we all headed out to the backyard for our bonfire, which was a fitting symbol as the image of the Holy Spirit is fire.
As the night wore on, marshmallows appeared, as well as more of Taylor's friends.
After many hours around the fire, the last guest departed around 12:30am.....what a beautiful night....Congratulations Taylor...the Holy Spirit will always be with you, giving you power, courage and strength to meet all of life's challenges.
