Idol Fever!

Mom finally got to cash in on her Mother's Day present last night...we took her to the long anticipated (bought tickets in April) American Idol Tour that came to Hartford XL Center last night...I think she is still smiling! Of course that might be because she stole a David Archuleta t-shirt from the pre-teen behind us...it was unbelievable..right off her back..we couldn't stop her!!!

We are all slightly deaf from all the screaming and shreiking around us. It was almost sold out a few seats way in the very back were empty, but filled to capacity with all ages..3 year olds to almost 80 year olds.

Rare Flowers

When we were up at Spec in early May, getting the house ready for the summer. Mary sent all the kids on a scavenger hunt for Jack-in-the-Pulpits and Lady Slippers. Unfortunately none were to be found in the woods around Spec. We, however, are lucky enough to have found them in our own yard and our own woods.

Just thought I would share a digital scrapbooking layout that I completed today. Digital=completely done on the computer with Adobe Photoshop=no scissors, glue, paper. Just a computer mouse and digital supplies. You all know how much I love scrapbook supplies, and I will never give up paper scrapbooking, but this has added a new dimension to my scrapbooking and I am lovin' it.
