When we were up at Spec in early May, getting the house ready for the summer. Mary sent all the kids on a scavenger hunt for Jack-in-the-Pulpits and Lady Slippers. Unfortunately none were to be found in the woods around Spec. We, however, are lucky enough to have found them in our own yard and our own woods.
